DeCarbonPro ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at decarbonpro.com and provides CBAM regulatory intelligence tools and consultancy services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

We collect personal data only when you actively provide it to us through one of the following:

Free tools and calculator access

Data collected: Name, work email address, company name, country, sector, and CN code.

Why: To grant access to the CBAM calculator and send you your results and relevant resources.

PDF report download

Data collected: Name, work email address, company name, country, sector, and annual export volume.

Why: To deliver the report and send you relevant CBAM guidance for your sector.

Contact form

Data collected: Name, work email address, company name, country, sector, role, service of interest, annual export volume, and your message.

Why: To respond to your enquiry and assess how we can help.

Consultation booking

Data collected: Name, email address, and meeting time via Cal.com.

Why: To schedule and confirm your consultation.

2. How we store your data

Your data is stored securely in Supabase, a cloud database service hosted in the European Union. Access is restricted to authorised personnel only. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-party services we use

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Vercel:Website hosting and delivery. Vercel may collect standard server logs (IP address, timestamp) as part of infrastructure operation.
  • Supabase:Secure database storage for submitted data, hosted in the EU.
  • Resend:Email delivery for confirmation and notification emails.
  • Cal.com:Consultation scheduling. Cal.com processes your name and email address to create meeting invites.

We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics that collect personal data. Our website analytics are privacy-friendly, cookie-free, and do not track individuals.

4. Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our website may use strictly necessary technical cookies (such as session tokens) required for the calculator to function. No cookie consent banner is required as we do not use non-essential cookies.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services and respond to your enquiries. If you have not engaged with us for 24 months, we will delete or anonymise your data unless we are required by law to retain it. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6).
