CBAM intelligence platform

Pay CBAM on what your goods really carry. Not on the EU’s default number.

No credit card required. See the pricing page first if you prefer.

Operators, outside the EU

Work out the emissions your goods really carry, ready for your verifier, so your EU buyers can declare them.

The platform

Everything you need to control your CBAM exposure

From installation modelling to emissions calculations, reporting and buyer evidence — one workspace for the CBAM workflow.

01Model

Build your installation.

Register each installation with its production processes, or upload a filled EU CBAM Communication or EFDA workbook and the register is built from it — then draw routes, precursors, fuels and electricity on the canvas.

The Installations screen in DeCarbonPro: the installation register with the workbook upload zone above it.
Sample data — Manage › Installations.

02Calculate

Calculate embedded emissions.

Direct and indirect embedded emissions, computed the way the implementing act sets out, with the published default values and their mark-up beside your own figures.

Calculation: IR (EU) 2025/2547 · default values and mark-up: IR (EU) 2026/1740, Annex I

The Analytics Overview screen in DeCarbonPro: total emissions, CBAM cost, carbon intensity and actual-versus-default by CN code.
Sample data — Analyze › Overview.

03Prove

Generate emissions reports.

The operator’s emissions report an accredited verifier checks, and the summary your EU buyer receives, as often as you need.

The Operator’s Emissions Report — IR (EU) 2025/2547, Annex IV

The Reports screen in DeCarbonPro with a generated report saved against its reporting period.

04Share

Give buyers the evidence they need.

One controlled link to your emissions data instead of emailed spreadsheets — password-protectable, and you can withdraw it. It shows each product’s emissions and CBAM cost per tonne, not your raw workbook.

  • Withdraw it any time
  • Cost per tonne, with its breakdown

How it fits together

From your factory to your EU buyer

One record travels the whole way. Nothing is retyped, and embedded emissions are calculated with the equations of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2547.

Actual versus default

Don’t accept the default. Know what you carry.

A worked example on the Commission’s own published workbook: the engine’s actual figure beside the EU default value for the same good.

EU default value

0.00 tCO₂e / t

CN 7318 15 · other countries · 2026 mark-up applied

Default values carry a mark-up — 10% in 2026 on iron and steel, aluminium, cement and hydrogen, rising to 30% by 2028. Proving your own number is what removes it.

Default values and mark-up: IR (EU) 2026/1740, Annex I · price of CBAM certificates: Reg. (EU) 2023/956 Art. 21(1a)

Whether your own figure beats the marked-up default depends on your installation. That is the number the platform gives you.

Built for every side of the CBAM transaction

The operator proves the figure. The declarant pays the bill. Both need the same record.

For installation operators outside the EU

Calculate what your goods carry, and prove it to your buyer

Model the installation once; every good you ship prices off it, on the EU default value and on your own figures.

  • Your installation as a flowsheet — routes, precursors, fuels, electricity
  • Direct and indirect embedded emissions, calculated with the equations of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2547
  • The report a verifier checks, and the summary your EU buyer receives

For EU declarants and their representatives

Your import lines, and the installation behind every figure

Each import line priced where its data allows, and every supplier figure tied to the installation that made it.

  • Every import line as the unit of obligation — code, origin, mass, value
  • Actual figures matched to the installation; defaults marked and counted
  • The suppliers still missing data for goods already imported, in one list

For consultants and service providers

Run your clients' CBAM work in one place

Each client's installation, figures and reports under your own account, with the same engine and the same evidence.

  • One account, every client installation you look after
  • Their figures, reports and buyer evidence, kept apart per client
  • A call to see how it fits your practice before anything is set up
